cookbook art on a local gpu

Our recipe cards need ink line-art, not photography. Bedrock does it at ~$0.04/image; our RX 6700 XT does it for $0. The ComfyUI API is three HTTP calls, the node graph is seven nodes, and tuning taught us that color and sparsity are coupled variables.

not nova act

Amazon Nova Act is going away. We rebuilt everything it does as a local-first stack: Playwright hands, qwen3-vl planning, CLIP grounding assist, and a 9-tool MCP server. How it works, the network topology, the code, and the screenshots proving it.

Local-First Deploy: Retiring CodeBuild for a One-Minute Ship

The bryanchasko.com site is done with managed CI. GitHub Actions, then self-hosted Woodpecker, then AWS CodeBuild — all three put a five-minute remote round-trip between a change and seeing it live. The replacement is one local script that ships in under a minute.

Muse Glimmer on HeraldStack: Local 30B Agents, One GPU, No Cloud

How we hooked Meta’s Muse Glimmer 30B into a local agent fleet on a single RX 6700 XT — on-demand llama.cpp, Valkey gpu_lock, Ollama, ComfyUI, and a Firecracker microVM that delegates from Spark to Glimmer.

Moodle Course Builder: CI Pipeline, Nova Act Regression, and Kiro Orchestration

A Chrome MV3 extension that builds entire Moodle courses from CSV files — tested end-to-end by Amazon Nova Act driving a real browser through the full upload-confirm-build flow, all orchestrated by Kiro CLI agents.
